Life's necessities should not be in the bag of unlimited profit for the few ... a very few ... top one/two percent?Water ... energy ... like heating and cooling, and travel if necessary for work, food, basic housing, basic clothing ... and decent education, so as to become self sufficient ... good health care (which is really a benefit to all, as in the stopping of a pandemic) ... we are civilized ... right??? ... to say nothing of a self professed Christian nation ... right? We keep saying we are the greatest country on the planet ... yes???
Now yachts, and hummers, jewelry, and 10,000+ sq foot homes should definitely be up for profit, and taxes
... special large fees for American's who keep the majority of their money outside of the country ... why not??? Tax rates that take a big hike when profit goes way beyond any reasonable level ... why not?
Tax the heck out of any more guns than that are absolutely necessary for self protection ... regulated militia? ... accent on regulated! Above that the sky is the limit ... any products that have a proven record of costing society huge sums of money, due to their abuse, should be fair game.
That the Halliburton's/Brown and Kellogg's of the world, i.e., can make oodles of profit off a war, not about true self defense, but upon gaining resources/land/and more profit just for profit's sake, and using our children's lives as fodder/fuel??? ... forcing them to kill other human beings????????? ... dissing them when they come home ... haggling over whether they can keep their homes, educational benefits, real health care that includes mental????
It is phucking obscene!
That is what I think.
